Because of some issues with the entry portal when entering Para Swimmers please use the notes below to help guide you through the process.
- Clubs may enter using a meet file or manually by using the individual entry button.
- This process is for Para Swimmers entering Para Swimming events listed in condition 1.5 (see below).
- Entering Para Swimmers into events where they meet the able bodied QTs clubs should include those swimmers in their main entry file for those events.
Para Swimming Events
Para Swimming events shall conform to guidelines provided by Swim England.
There are no QT’s for para swimmers. A qualifying standard of 200 points will apply to all events in the para competition (condition 2.7). Anyone who does not know their points can find the information here.
Para swimming competition format:
The general conditions for Swim England South East Region Swimming Championships shall apply to the Para Swimming events except where they vary by any of the following conditions.
The competition format will be based on para-swimming inclusion within the able-bodied programme in the Youth Championships. Swimmers will be integrated on a time-banded basis in all events except for the 150m Individual Medley.
Qualification points may be gained at licensed Level 1, 2 or 3 competitions within the designated qualification period.
Para-swimmers may enter events which are not included in the multi-classification programme, on the same basis as able-bodied swimmers.
The organisers may swim the Open/Male and Female SM1-SM4 150m Individual Medley events together depending on the number of entries.
Unfortunately, the bank details page is provided even though we have set the portal to not take payments. Please just put “-” in each field in order to proceed to the next step:
On the event entry page the portal is showing some random event numbers within the sessions, please ignore these and simply enter based on the event distance and stroke (condition 1.5 shown above) . Sometimes the portal appears to pull entry times through from rankings and other times not.
Once you have entered an entry time, the portal will give you the option to tick or untick the event.
Ignore the LQT column, these are dummy values as the switch in the portal to not check entry times is not working.
For all entry requirements please see the conditions and other guidance notes on competition webpage.
