Event Makers are at the centre of all our competitions. Without the essential support of volunteers there would be no competitions.
They run every aspect of the Championships; marshalling swimmers, running the results system, making announcements, welcoming spectators and presenting medals.
Yes, it can be hard work and of course there are some long sessions but it’s a lot more fun than sitting in a hot balcony waiting for your swimmer to race. As a member of the Event Maker team we can ensure you get to see the racing you need to see.
We are only able to accept offers from members of Swim England. This is because we need to make sure that everyone involved in our competitions is appropriately insured. If you are not already a member of a club please discuss joining Swim England as a Club Support member with your club’s membership secretary. As an Event Maker we offer you training if you need it and pay expenses. We also provide refreshments throughout the day and lunch between sessions.

Youth Championships (swimmers aged 15, 16, 17, 18/yrs over) will take place at Wycombe.
There are 17 sessions in total. With such a busy programme we need a lot of people to help us deliver the level of competition that your swimmers need to help their careers. To join the Event Maker team please complete the appropriate form below.
