The South East sent two teams to the recent U16 Girls Inter-Regional Water Polo Tournament held at Millfield School, Somerset on 07 & 08 July. Team South East Anderida won and are now the Inter-Regional Champions 2018. This is the first Water Polo trophy in any national competition won by the Region, a fantastic achievement.

Swim England have announced that five national swimming Performance Centres have been created across the country to support talented young swimmers. Two of these centres are within the South East, High Wycombe and Guildford. Tatiana Belonogoff (Guildford City) struck gold for Great Britain on the first day of the European Junior Swimming Championships. The 16-year-old was victorious in a close 50m Breaststroke final in Helsinki, Finland, to top the podium. Belonogoff clocked a time of 31.29 to touch home 0.07 seconds ahead of Germany’s Anna Elendt.
