Water polo development

A great weekend for our South East athletes representing the London Talent Centre. All four teams, U14 Girls, U14 Boys, U16 Girls, and U16 Boys, faced tough opposition from the North East, North West, and Midlands, showing grit, teamwork, and determination throughout.

Key highlights included:

•   U14 Boys: Game-winning goals in the final seconds.
•   U14 Girls: A significant number of drawn exclusions and winning two out of three games.
•   U16 Boys: Remaining undefeated throughout the tournament.
•   U16 Girls: A dominant performance in penalties.

This was our most successful Talent Games weekend yet. A huge well done to all the players, coaches, team managers, parents, and volunteers.

•   U14 Girls: Deven Mackenzie (Hastings/Faversham/Otter), Isabelle Oyler (Faversham), Polly-Anna Ellis (Faversham), Paloma Taylor (Faversham), Lily-May Jasper (Portsmouth), Flora Perkins (Faversham), Scarlett Dore (Worthing/Faversham), Lara Pritchard (Portsmouth)
•   U14 Boys: Barnaby Perkins (Faversham)
•   U16 Girls: Natalie Clements (Faversham)
•   U16 Boys: Sam Foot (Hastings/Worthing)

Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome players born in 2014 to trials starting in September. At the same time, we are proud to see our 2010-born players graduate from the programme in the coming weeks. Their contribution to the centre has been immense, and we wish them every success in the next stage of their water polo journey.
