Channel Island Travel Support Scheme 2026
What is the Swim England South East Channel Island Support Scheme?
Swim England South East recognises that athletes and coaches based in the Channel Islands face additional costs when travelling to Regional Talent Camps, Coaches Workshops, and the practical elements of Institute of Swimming coaching courses.
To help reduce this financial disadvantage, the Region will contribute towards the extra travel and accommodation expenses necessarily incurred when attending these events.

- Regional Events: Funding applies to athletes training camps or coach workshops organised by Swim England South East Region
- Institute of Swimming coaching courses: Support is available for travel to the practical elements of IoS coaching courses.
– Limited to two coaches per club per year.
– Support may also be considered for a travelling tutor, where feasible. - Travel must be from the Channel Island to the event location.
- Expenses must relate directly to attendance at the event and may include travel and accommodation.
- Funding must be applied for before the event takes place.
How much funding is available?
- Up to 50% of the eligible costs
