Free table officials resource aims to recruit new water polo volunteers
A new free resource aimed at anyone with an interest in water polo and officiating has been launched by Swim England.
The Introduction to becoming a Table Official – Water Polo resource is the first step on the journey to becoming a vital volunteer at matches.

Free resource aims to recruit new artistic swimming judges
A new free resource which aims to encourage anyone with an interest of artistic swimming to volunteer at events has been launched by Swim England.
The Introduction to Judging – Artistic Swimming resource is the first step on the journey to become a judge.

New Blended Learning Assistant Coaching Courses Released
Assistant Coaching courses have been released for Swimming, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Diving. These courses are being run via E-Learning and cover the theory elements of these qualifications. Learners will need to attend a face to face course, when it is possible to do so, to complete the qualification.

New online workshops and CPD webinars launched
Over the next few months, the IoS will be delivering bespoke online workshops and their popular suite of Swim England Qualification accredited CPD seminars online as interactive webinars.

Free training course will allow club volunteers to take on team manager role
A free online course has been created for Swim England members keen to volunteer as a team manager for their aquatic club.

Free Online Modules
A range of Modules that aim to support the volunteers at your clubs. The Modules include Organisation Structures, Finance, Developing a Marketing Strategy. A full list can be found on their website.

Safeguarding & Protecting Children (Online Classroom)
This Online Classroom will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse, and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.
UK Coaching also has a range of other on-line courses that would help coaches and teachers

The Open University
Produced by The Open University, a world leader in open and distance learning, all Open Learn courses are free to study. The courses on offer include Coaching others to coach, Communication and working relationships in sport and fitness. A full list can be found on their website.

A range of online courses that aim to support the Workforce at your clubs. The Courses include Coaching People with a Visual Impairment, Inspiring Positive Behaviour in Sport, Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity. A full list can be found on their website.

Swimming Technical Official (Judge 1 Theory).
This online learning is the first step to achieving Judge 1 status for swimming technical officiating.
