IMPORTANT NEWS
Once again, our plans for the 2025 Long Course Championships have been thrown up in the air. Winchester Leisure Centre have cancelled our confirmed booking for 5th April, which means that we have to rethink how we fit in the relay championships. So once again, we have to warn that the previously announced plan is subject to change.
We now have to reconsider options to respond to the need of swimmers to prepare for the 2025 British Championships/Trials on 15th-20th April.
Saturday April 5th: Relay Championships (Winchester)Pool not available- Saturday/Sunday April 26th/27th: Age Group Championships (K2)
- Friday-Monday 2nd-5th May: Youth Championships (Wycombe)
- Saturday/Sunday 10th-11th May: Age Group Championships (Winchester)
Unless we can find an another suitable pool, or we revert to April 12th for a relay competition, relays will have to be fitted in to one of the other weekends which would result in a reduction of swimmers that can be accepted for individual events. That would require changes to base and automatic qualifying times.
We apologise for the impact this uncertainty will generate. We are frustrated at being unavailable to confirm arrangements. We will resolve this as soon as we are able.
