SUMMARY:Synchro Level 1 Judges Course
DESCRIPTION:Eligibility\nCandidates must be Swim England Members and be 16 years of age or over on the day of the course.\nCandidates should be familiar with the concept of judging, how a competition works and have watched/worked with and observed swimmers taking part in competitions and performing figures and routines.\nCandidates should\n1) Have seen, and be familiar with;  Basic Positions, Basic Movements, Figure and Routine Grades 1 and 2, 12U Age Group FINA Figures, and Combination Routines. – it is encouraged that candidates have the support of a club coach or judge to be able to have done some preparation for the course before hand, in the way of watching, observing and becoming familiar with synchro language and names.\n2) Print off and bring with them a copy of the FINA Judges Manual – available here:\nhttp://www.fina.org/content/development-publications ( http://www.fina.org/content/development-publications )\n3) Print off and bring with them a copy of the Figure and Routine Grades 1 and 2 – available here:\nhttp://www.swimming.org/synchro/synchro-skill-levels/ ( http://www.swimming.org/synchro/synchro-skill-levels/ )\n
