British Swimming Nominates Region Swimmers for Beijing Paralympic Games

British Swimming has today nominated two of the region's swimmers for the British team for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

Nominations are now open for the 2008 ASA South East Regional Awards. The Region is delighted to announce that there are seven categories this year. The first five categories will automatically be nominated for the National Aquaforce Volunteer Awards.

The British Olympic Association (BOA) has selected two synchronised swimmers from the region for Team GB at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Seven swimmers from the Region have been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Junior and World Youth Championships.

South East Region Youth Championships 2008

With the closing date for the 2008 Youth Championships passed, we have been able to analyse the entries. The event is about 120% OVERSUBSCRIBED.

BOA Select Additional Relay Swimmers for Team GB for Beijing 2008

The British Olympic Association (BOA) today selected Simon Burnett for Team GB at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games to swim the 4x100m Freestyle Relay.
